Hi, I’m Lonnie
Owner and beauty therapist at The Beauty Room Denmark
With over two decades in the community service industry, working with differently abled people and older adults, I understand the power of connection and human touch. It’s vital to our health and happiness.
So, when I launched The Beauty Room in 2024, I wanted to create a salon centred around connection and comfort. A gentle space where people felt cared for and seen, no matter what age or stage they are in life.
It’s the small things that turn an ordinary salon visit into a nourishing self-care experience: greeting you at the door, taking the time to listen to your needs and remember your preferences, preparing a heated table and a curated playlist, allowing abundant time to sink into the moment.
I believe in slow beauty.
When I’m not crafting beautiful brows, you’ll likely find me at the beach with my dogs, walking the local bush tracks, hanging out with my partner and kids, being crafty with macrame or crochet, sewing, or scouring the local op shops for unique finds.

I understand that life happens. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Yes, gift vouchers are available for any service or dollar amount and make the perfect treat for someone special. You can purchase them by contacting me directly, so please call, message or email.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin around your eyes and brows. Avoid using retinol, exfoliants, or active skincare products near the treatment area for at least 48 hours beforehand.

It’s best to avoid eye and brow makeup for 24 hours to allow the tint to fully set and prevent irritation.

Keep your lashes dry and avoid steam, mascara, and rubbing your eyes for 24–48 hours. After that, you can treat them as normal—but gentle care will help extend results.

Please do not apply facial tanning products before or after your brow tint or colour. It will alter the colour of your brows and often causes an orange staining effect.

Hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice (about 0.5 cm) for best results. Gently exfoliate the day before and avoid applying lotions or oils on the area before your appointment.

Avoid hot showers, swimming, exercise, and tight clothing for 24 hours post-wax. Steer clear of exfoliants, fragrances, and active skincare on the treated area during this time.

Yes! Many pregnant clients continue waxing throughout pregnancy. Just let me know so I can ensure extra comfort and care during your treatment.
